Yanga SC head coach Abdihamid Moalin says his team is fully prepared for their final NBC Premier League match against JKT Tanzania, set to be played on Tuesday at Major General Isamuhyo Stadium.
Speaking during a pre-match press conference, Moalin stressed that Yanga’s objective is to win the match and successfully defend their league title.
He acknowledged that they expect a tough challenge from JKT Tanzania, describing them as one of the strongest teams in the league this season.
"It will be a difficult match. JKT Tanzania are a strong side and they are coached by one of the best managers in the NBC Premier League this season," said Moalin.
"We played them recently in the CRDB Cup quarter-finals, so we understand the challenge ahead. We will need to be at our very best, just like we were in the previous match."
"We are going into the game with our own objectives. We want to win. We are not a team that sits back to defend—we want to play football and score goals."
"Yanga is a big club with quality players capable of delivering the results we need, so tomorrow we will go out with the intention of winning," he added.
The match, scheduled for 10:00 p.m., could see Yanga retain their league title if they secure a victory. Even a draw may be enough for the "Wananchi" to reclaim the championship and continue their dominance in Tanzanian football.
