Before Yanga SC's NBC Premier League clash against TRA United at KMC Complex, there was plenty of speculation that the league leaders could drop valuable points.
There were bold predictions and psychological mind games ahead of the match, but Yanga remained composed and, after 90 minutes, walked away with a convincing 3-0 victory thanks to Allan Okello's hat-trick.
One of the standout performers was left-back Chadrack Boka, who delivered an impressive defensive display by effectively neutralizing TRA United's dangerous winger, Ramadhan Chobwedo.
Chobwedo, who has been linked with a move to Simba, found little joy down Boka's flank as the Yanga defender kept him under control throughout the match.
Instead, it was Boka who frequently pushed forward, making overlapping runs down the left wing and providing an attacking outlet whenever Yanga moved forward.
The performance further strengthened Boka's case to remain at Yanga, with the defender continuing to demonstrate his value as the club pursues a fifth consecutive league title.
With his current contract nearing its expiration, Boka is still waiting to hear from Yanga president Hersi Said regarding a new deal that could extend his stay at the club.
