Attacking midfielder Juma Issa Abushir was among the standout performers for Fountain Gate in their recent Premier League match against Yanga, played at Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium in Arusha, where Yanga won 2–0.
Abushir, popularly known as “Chuga Boy,” has become one of the key players for Fountain Gate and is widely seen as a talent with a bright future ahead.
Yanga’s Head of Information and Communications, Ali Kamwe, did not hold back praise for Abushir, who is known for his strong left foot.
"I urge Fountain Gate to take good care of him. He is a good young player, they should protect him from distractions. He can even be an asset to the national team at AFCON," said Kamwe.
There are also reports suggesting that Yanga officials have already placed the youngster on their radar, and he could potentially join the club at the end of the season.
