Yanga attacking midfielder Pacome has revealed the injury challenges that troubled him for much of the season, admitting that he played several matches while enduring significant pain.
The talented playmaker said he has now recovered and is ready to fight for Yanga in the remaining matches as the club looks to finish the season strongly.
Pacome scored Yanga’s opening goal in yesterday’s match against Fountain Gate, helping the team secure a 2-0 victory.
After finding the net, he made a gesture of appreciation toward the fans, explaining that it was meant to thank those who continued to support him throughout his difficult period.
“That gesture was to thank the Yanga fans who have been patient with me during a difficult time. I played with knee pain for quite a long period, but they always stood by me, even when I was going through tough moments on the pitch.
“The goal against Fountain Gate is very important to me at this stage of the season as we approach the end of the campaign.
“I feel much better now, and I am ready to give our fans what they expect from us. I encourage them to come out in large numbers and support us in these final matches,” said Pacome.
