Coming straight from national team duty with Angola, he may have been limited to a brief appearance due to fatigue after arriving just a day before the match.
Depu almost scored for Yanga, only denied by a brilliant save from the Mashujaa FC goalkeeper who tipped his effort away from goal.
However, he did provide the assist for captain Bakari Mwamnyeto, who scored the second goal to seal Yanga’s important away victory in Kigoma.
