Yanga SC are reportedly set to make Burkina Faso international striker Yves Koutiama their first signing of the major transfer window, which is scheduled to open in July.
Reports indicate that the striker has signed a two-year contract with the Tanzanian champions.
Koutiama, who currently plays for Kenya’s Polisi FC, reportedly arrived in Tanzania yesterday to finalize the transfer process before returning to Kenya.
His impressive performances during the few months he spent at Polisi FC after joining in the mid-season transfer window were enough to attract attention and ultimately earn him a move to the Jangwani-based club.
The striker is also a member of the Burkina Faso national team, adding international experience to Yanga’s attacking options ahead of the new season.
