Yanga SC are reportedly in discussions to sign Burkinabe striker Yves Koutiama (27).
During the recently concluded season, Koutiama featured for Kenya’s Polisi FC after joining the club in the mid-season transfer window.
The prolific forward scored 10 goals and was named the club’s Best Foreign Player despite spending only a short time with the team.
Yanga are determined to strengthen their attacking department, and Koutiama is seen as a player who fits their requirements.
The striker has been offered a two-year contract, with negotiations reported to be at an advanced stage.
Before joining Polisi FC, Koutiama played for USFA Ouagadougou in his home country of Burkina Faso.
In his debut match after joining Polisi FC in January, he scored a brace and went on to finish the season with 10 goals in total, consistently finding the back of the net throughout his short spell.
