Former Yanga coach Cedric Kaze will continue his career in South Africa after signing a one-year contract to take charge of Premier Soccer League side Sekhukhune United.
Kaze was part of Kaizer Chiefs’ technical team last season, working alongside Khalil Ben Youssef.
The duo took over responsibilities that had been left by Nasreddine Nabi, who was the head coach of Chiefs but stepped down due to family-related issues.
Kaze and Ben Youssef previously enjoyed significant success at Yanga under Nabi, helping the club win all domestic trophies in the 2022/23 season and reach the CAF Confederation Cup final.
Last season, the pair guided Kaizer Chiefs to a third-place finish in the South African league, securing qualification for next season’s CAF Champions League.
However, their achievements were not enough to convince the club’s management to renew their contracts after the expiry of their initial deals.
