The Yanga Princess squad continued to lose their way in the Women’s Premier League after being held to a goalless draw against Fountain Gate Princess yesterday.
This was their third consecutive match without a victory in the Women’s Premier League, which is now approaching its conclusion.
The team appears to have lost momentum following a 2-1 defeat to Simba Queens, as they have since failed to return to winning ways.
Before the match against Fountain Gate, Yanga Princess also suffered a defeat to Mashujaa Queens, marking their third loss of the season.
At the end of the first round, there were high expectations for Yanga Princess in the title race as they sat in second place, just one point behind Simba Queens.
However, they are now 10 points behind their rivals, who look set to be crowned champions this season.
Despite significant efforts by the Yanga management to strengthen the squad at the beginning of the season, the women’s team still appears to be struggling to find consistency.
