Former Yanga star Haruna Niyonzima has continued pursuing his coaching education and is now only a few steps away from becoming a fully qualified coach.
Recently, Niyonzima took part in coaching training sessions at the Atletico Madrid football academy, where he had the opportunity to learn from Spanish football legend Fernando Torres, who currently coaches Atletico Madrid B.
Niyonzima has received strong support from the Rwanda Football Federation as he works toward achieving his dream of becoming a football coach.
The former midfielder served Rwanda with great success during his playing career, and he is now benefiting from the support of his national football authorities.
One of the promises Niyonzima made when leaving Yanga was that he would one day return to the club as a coach.
So far, it appears he is living that dream and may now be getting closer to achieving his long-term ambition.
