Yanga attacking midfielder Allan Okello once again proved his importance to the Wananchi squad yesterday.
The Ugandan international scored twice in Yanga’s 3-0 victory over Coastal Union in a match played at KMC Complex.
In addition to his two goals, Okello also provided the assist for the third goal scored by Maxi Nzengeli, earning him the Man of the Match award after the full 90 minutes.
Okello has now reached five league goals and seven assists, meaning he has been directly involved in 12 goals scored by Yanga.
It should be remembered that Okello joined Yanga during the January transfer window. He may well be the player with the highest goal contributions in the league since January.
