“Star Boy” Allan Okello scored the only goal of the game in the second half, firing a low shot from just outside the box after receiving a pass from Shekhan Khamis.
Yanga started the match at a high tempo in the first half, but a lack of composure in the final third saw them miss several chances.
As the game progressed, KMC grew in confidence and tightened their defense, making it difficult for Yanga to break through.
