After Simba secured a place in the Muungano Cup final yesterday, there has been growing confidence among their fans, many believing they are heading for an easy win against Yanga. However, the reality may be very different from what they expect.
Following the draw against Simba, and subsequent draws against Azam FC, TRA United, and Mtibwa Sugar, Yanga’s management took decisive steps to restore the team’s form.

These victories include dominant performances against Tanzania Prisons (3-0), Pamba Jiji (3-0), Mbeya City (6-0), and Muembe Makumbi (4-0). Yanga have significantly improved in attack while maintaining defensive solidity.
It is clear that April 29 could be another historic day in Kariakoo Derby clashes, with Yanga currently on a seven-match unbeaten run.
