While in Zanzibar to participate in the Muungano Cup, Yanga players, officials, and the technical bench had the opportunity yesterday to tour various parts of the island.
The Zanzibar Tourism Commission extended the invitation, through which Wananchi visited several museum sites in Zanzibar.
The historic champions also visited the Anglican Church, which holds significant history in the struggle for human rights. The church was built on a site that was used as a slave market before 1873. Its construction was meant to commemorate the abolition of the slave trade in the Zanzibar islands.
