Young Africans SC strengthened their position at the top of the NBC Premier League standings after a dominant 6-0 victory over Mbeya City FC at KMC Complex.
Wananchi effectively sealed the match in the first half, scoring five goals before the break in a commanding display.
After missing several matches due to injury, striker Prince Dube made a full return to the starting lineup and marked the occasion with an impressive brace.
He opened the scoring with the first goal and later added the sixth goal towards the end of the first half.
The other goals came from Pacome Zouzoua, who netted twice, while Maxi Nzengeli and Mohamed Hussein each added one goal.
Yanga dominated possession for most of the match, putting Mbeya City under constant pressure. The visitors struggled to break through a solid defensive line led by captain Bakari Mwamnyeto, with Hussein Masalanga starting in goal.
The victory takes Yanga to 47 points at the top of the table, extending their lead to eight points.
