Following their 1-0 victory over TMA Stars and qualification for the CRDB Cup quarter-finals, Yanga SC have resumed training in preparation for their upcoming Mainland Premier League match against Mbeya City.
The match is scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 16, at KMC Complex Stadium, kicking off at 6:30 PM.
Speaking about the squad’s condition, Yanga’s Head of Information and Communications, Ali Kamwe, confirmed that only two players remain unavailable, excluding Dickson Job and Clement Mzize, who will not feature for the remainder of the season.
Kamwe added that winger Buba Jammeh suffered an injury during the match against TMA Stars and joins Emmanuel Mwanengo, who is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury.
He further confirmed that striker Prince Dube is fully fit at 100% and available for selection against Mbeya City, while Depu is at 85% recovery and could return in the next match.
In addition, attacking midfielder Pacome Zouzoua, who picked up a shoulder injury against TMA Stars, is recovering well and is expected to be available for the Mbeya City fixture and subsequent matches.
Goalkeeper Djigui Diarra has also rejoined the squad after completing his three-match suspension.
