Today, Wananchi are heading to Mwanza Region ahead of their Premier League match against Pamba Jiji, which will be played on Wednesday, April 8, at CCM Kirumba Stadium.
Yanga’s Head of Information and Communications, Ali Kamwe, said the squad will depart from Dar es Salaam tonight at 9:00 PM.
Kamwe has urged Yanga fans to turn out in large numbers to استقبال the team at Mwanza Airport and to show up in big numbers on Wednesday to support their team in the match against Pamba Jiji.
He added that they expect a tough match, but there is no shortcut—they must win every game to secure the league title.
Through his social media page, Kamwe shared the following message:
"Our club, Young Africans Sports Club, will depart from Dar es Salaam at 9:00 PM tonight heading to Mwanza for the game against Pamba Jiji to be played at CCM Kirumba on April 9.
We have once again gained the advantage of being three points clear at the top. Let’s not repeat mistakes, my people.
This season’s title requires strong mentality and intense battles both on and off the pitch. Let’s go to war now. Let’s leave our homes, stop analyzing on our phones, and come out in full force to support our team in every match.
The match against Pamba Jiji is very tough, but if we unite and the players see us in large numbers from tonight’s استقبال and again at the stadium on match day, I have no doubt they will fight hard to earn the three points.
Forward always, never backward.
It is time to show our strength and love for our club."
