STATEMENT
The Legal and Players’ Status Committee of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has dismissed the case filed by Simba regarding the eligibility of player Mohamed Damaro Camara.
Simba had submitted a complaint to the committee challenging the validity of Camara’s registration, claiming it resulted in Yanga having 13 foreign players instead of the permitted 12.
The club argued that his registration violated Regulation 62(1) of the Premier League as well as FIFA regulations.
In its ruling, the committee stated that Camara’s registration has no irregularities, as it is not subject to the regulations cited by Simba.
The full decision of the case will be communicated to the complainant, Simba.
