Following the Premier League Board’s disciplinary committee decision to suspend Yanga SC’s first-choice goalkeeper Djigui Diarra for three matches due to incidents in the match against Mtibwa Sugar, Diarra will begin serving his suspension in the next game against Tanzania Prisons on April 4.
Diarra will also miss the following NBC Premier League match against Pamba Jiji on April 8, as well as the third match against TMA in the Round of 16 of the CRDB Cup.
Diarra is eligible to return to goal on April 16 in the match against Mbeya City and for subsequent fixtures.
During Diarra’s absence, Yanga will rely on goalkeepers Aboutwalib Mshery and Hussein Masalanga.
