Yanga’s squad has returned to Dar es Salaam from Dodoma, where they yesterday completed their NBC Premier League Round 16 match against Mtibwa Sugar.
The match, played at Jamhuri Stadium, ended in a 1-1 draw, with both teams sharing the points.
After returning to Dar, Yanga players have been given a break of about three days to rest following a demanding schedule that saw them play seven matches within 21 days.
Yanga’s Head of Information and Communications, Ali Kamwe, stated that players who have been called up to their national teams have been allowed to leave and join their respective countries.
The league is expected to pause for approximately 10 days to accommodate the FIFA calendar.
