Yanga SC striker Prince Dube was forced to leave yesterday’s Premier League match against TRA United due to injury.
Yanga team doctor, Dr. Moses Etutu, confirmed that Dube suffered a hamstring injury and is expected to miss the next league match against Mtibwa Sugar on Saturday, March 21, at Jamhuri Stadium in Dodoma.
Dube’s injury leaves Yanga without any of their first-team strikers available, as he joins Clement Mzize and Laurindo Aurelio ‘Depu,’ who are both sidelined with injuries.
The injury could keep Dube out of action for up to three weeks.
The responsibility of leading the attack now falls on Emmanuel Mwanengo, who came on during yesterday’s match after Dube was forced off.
