Yanga supporters are still waiting for attacking midfielder Allan Okello to open his goal account since joining the Mainland Tanzania champions.
Since arriving at the club, Okello has begun to show his quality in head coach Pedro Goncalves’ starting lineup. The coach has on several occasions praised the Ugandan international for his great talent.
Goncalves has deployed Okello in different roles — sometimes as a wide attacking midfielder and at other times in the number 10 position, alternating with Mudathir Yahya.
Yanga’s Information and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, has urged fans not to be swayed by pundits criticizing the player, insisting there is no doubt about his ability on the pitch.
Kamwe expressed confidence in Okello, saying it is only a matter of time before he opens his goal-scoring account.
