Yanga’s squad has left Morocco and is on its way back to Tanzania following their 1-0 defeat to AS FAR in the match played the day before yesterday.
The Yanga delegation departed Rabat on Sunday at 8:00 p.m., heading to Casablanca where they boarded a flight connecting through Lagos, Nigeria, before linking up with another flight to Dar es Salaam.
The team is expected to arrive in the country this Monday evening, with preparations for their final CAF Champions League group-stage match against JS Kabylie set to begin tomorrow.
On Sunday, February 15, Yanga will host JS Kabylie in a crucial match where the Citizens need a victory to keep their hopes of qualifying for the quarter-finals alive, depending on the outcome of the match between Al Ahly and AS FAR.
