Yanga created the clearer chances in the second half, but Prince Dube was unable to convert two opportunities, while Clement Mzize — who came on as a substitute for Pacome — also missed his chance.
The result leaves Yanga needing to win their final home match against JS Kabylie, while also hoping Al Ahly defeat AS FAR in the last round of the group stage.
Al Ahly have already secured qualification to the quarter-finals, with their final match set to determine whether they finish top of the group.
Yanga will need to win by at least two goals against JS Kabylie.
