The fourth Group B match of the CAF Champions League between Yanga and Al Ahly ended in a 1β1 draw.
The match, played at the New Amaan Complex Stadium, saw Yanga take the lead in the 45th minute through Ibrahim Bacca, who finished off a neat one-two inside Al Ahlyβs penalty area following a cross from Pacome Zouzoua on the right flank.

Yanga were the better side for large spells of the match, especially in the first half, creating more chances than their opponents but failing to make full use of them.
In the second half, Al Ahly returned with greater intensity in search of an equalizer, while Yanga continued to attack on the counter.
Aliou Dieng scored the equalizing goal for Al Ahly following a corner kick, after Yangaβs defenders failed to clear their lines.
Yanga had a few clear chances in the second half, but Maxi Nzengeli failed to capitalize, while Duke Abuya and Prince Dube also missed opportunities.
It was a result that can be described as fair to both sides, as each team created chances and could have gone on to win the match.
Yanga now move to five points and remain second in Group B, while Al Ahly stay top of the group with eight points.
