Today marks the birthday of Yanga attacking midfielder Maxi Nzengeli. Now in his third season with the Citizens, Maxi remains the same dependable player.
Since the start of this season, his role has been adjusted, with him being deployed more frequently in a deeper midfield position.
Maxi has continued to be an important player in coach Pedro Goncalves’ squad and is a regular starter in the first team.
On this special day marking his birthday, Maxi and his teammates are in Zanzibar putting the final touches on their preparations for the CAF Champions League match against Al Ahly, which will be played tomorrow at the New Amaan Complex Stadium.
