After being sidelined for nearly eight months, Yanga right-back Yao Kouassi “Jeshi” officially returned to the pitch the other day in a match against TRA United at the New Amaan Complex.
In that match, which Yanga won 1–0 to secure a place in the semifinals of the Mapinduzi Cup, Yao featured for approximately 10 minutes.
It was a positive moment for him, restoring hope and confidence as he resumes his duties as a player following a difficult period.
