After completing his national team duties at the AFCON 2025 tournament, striker Prince Dube has returned to the country and is expected to join the Yanga Zanzibar squad today.
Zimbabwe were eliminated at the group stage of AFCON 2025, with Dube featuring in all three matches and scoring one goal.
Yanga’s Information and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, has hinted that Dube will travel to Zanzibar together with another new striker recently signed by the reigning national champions.
The Angolan striker Laurindo Dilson Aurélio, popularly known as “Depu,” from Polish club Radomiak Radom, is reported to be the player set to join Yanga.
More good news for Yanga supporters is the return of their stars who were part of the Taifa Stars squad, which is arriving back in the country today from Morocco, where they were knocked out at the round of 16 stage of AFCON 2025.
If Yanga reach the final of the Mapinduzi Cup, it is clear that those stars will be part of the squad at the Gombani Stadium in Pemba.
