Yanga have opened talks with Singida Black Stars over a loan move for midfielder Mohammed Damaro until the end of the season, it has been learned.
The club is in the market for another defensive midfielder who could potentially take the place of Moussa Balla Conte, whose start with Wananchi has been somewhat slow.
Damaro had been on Yanga’s radar since the previous transfer window, but the club failed to complete his signing in time.
This could be a good opportunity for both parties, as Damaro himself is seeking a new challenge after struggling to secure a regular place in the starting lineup.
Singida Black Stars recently signed Khalid Aucho, who is the first-choice option in the defensive midfield position.
