Yanga are reported to be in the process of signing TRA United striker Emmanuel Mwanengo, according to emerging information.
Rumours linking the 22-year-old forward to Yanga began circulating last week, with inside sources indicating that the club has already held discussions with the player’s representatives and an agreement has been reached.
The remaining step is for Yanga to finalize talks with TRA United, after which Mwanengo is expected to officially join the Jangwani giants to strengthen their attacking department.
Before joining Tabora United (now TRA United), Mwanengo played professional football in Tajikistan, where he left a mark by scoring the best goal of the 2024 Asian Cup qualifiers.
This move aligns with Yanga’s continued strategy of signing young, talented players to develop them into key contributors for the senior team.
