Yanga Princess head coach Edna Lema has begun early improvements to her squad ahead of the opening of the mini-transfer window in a few days.
This season, Yanga Princess are determined to avoid any form of complacency, as Lema is targeting the Women’s Premier League title for the first time.
It is reported that the club has already reached an agreement with former Simba Queens attacking midfielder Asha Djaffar, a Burundian international.
Djaffar, who shone with Simba Queens for several seasons, is awaiting her official unveiling before she begins serving the club, with the announcement expected at any moment.
Yanga Princess will be back in action tomorrow, Friday, as they face Tausi in the ongoing Women’s Premier League.
Djaffar may make her first appearance for the team once her transfer is finalized after the mini-transfer window officially opens on December 16.
