Yanga’s Media and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, has confirmed that the squad will return to training on December 15 after the break granted by head coach Pedro Goncalves starting from December 7.
Kamwe stated that once the team resumes, they will train for five days until December 20, after which players will be given another break for Christmas celebrations.
Following the holiday, Yanga will return to training again on December 29 to prepare for their upcoming fixtures in the Premier League, CAF Champions League, and the CRDB Cup.
“Our technical bench announced a break from December 7 to December 15. When the team returns on the 15th, they will train until December 20,” he said.
“After that, they will rest again until December 28, giving players the opportunity to celebrate the holiday with their families before returning to training on December 29 for preparations.”
“We all know that in January we have international and domestic matches, depending on the schedule set by the league board,” Kamwe added.
