After their 2–0 victory over Fountain Gate yesterday, the Yanga squad has no time to waste as they head to Dodoma for another NBC Premier League match against Coastal Union.
On Sunday, December 7, Yanga will step onto the Jamhuri Stadium pitch to face hosts Coastal Union, who opted to use the venue after their home ground, Mkwakwani, was closed by the League Board for failing to meet required standards.
The win against Fountain Gate yesterday moved Yanga up to third place on the league table after reaching 13 points from the five matches they have played so far.
The Wananchi could climb to second place if they secure a win against Coastal Union, and they may remain in that position until the league resumes after the 2025 Afcon tournament scheduled for later this month in Morocco.
