Former Yanga stars Stephane Aziz Ki and Yacouba Songhne were present yesterday at the KMC Complex Stadium to watch the NBC Premier League match between Yanga and Fountain Gate, where Yanga claimed a 2–0 victory.
Despite leaving Yanga, the two stars have continued to maintain a good relationship with the club, a sign of how much they value the positive experiences they had with the Wananchi.
Aziz Ki, who currently plays for Wydad Athletic, visited Avic Town the day before and even took part in a training session.
Recently, Aziz Ki experienced a health challenge in Zanzibar when Wydad faced Azam FC, which led to him being hospitalized for a few days. He is now on holiday in the country and has used the time to reconnect with friends and his former employers.
It is also worth noting that Aziz Ki is married to Tanzanian model Hamisa Mobetto. The couple tied the knot earlier this year, making Tanzania feel very much like home for him.
Their presence at the stadium brought joy to Yanga fans, who hold fond memories of the significant contributions the two stars made during their time at the club.
