As Yanga step onto the KMC Complex pitch this evening to face Fountain Gate in the continuation of the NBC Premier League, the *Wananchi* are set to hold a special event to honor their first-choice goalkeeper, Djigui Diarra.
Since joining Yanga four seasons ago from Stade Malien, Diarra has consistently put smiles on the faces of Yanga fans with his outstanding performances between the posts.
Statistics show that after the goalless draw against JS Kabylie, Diarra has now kept five clean sheets in the six CAF Champions League matches he has played this season.
The only match in which Diarra conceded a goal was the second leg against Malawi’s Silver Strikers, where Yanga lost 1–0.
Additionally, in the four Premier League matches he has featured in this season, Diarra has also conceded just one goal and collected three clean sheets. This means that across all competitions this season, Diarra has conceded only two goals in 11 matches, earning a total of nine clean sheets.
