Yanga striker Prince Dube is expected to lead the Jangwani giants tonight as they face JS Kabylie in their second CAF Champions League group-stage match, scheduled for 9:00 PM in Algeria.
Dube scored Yanga’s lone goal in their previous match, where the team secured a 1–0 victory over AS FAR at the New Amaan Complex in Zanzibar.
After a difficult start to the season, Dube brought smiles back to the Yanga fans in a match he initially felt unprepared to play due to challenges he faced in previous games.
However, his teammates believed in him and encouraged him to put on the jersey—and he did not disappoint, scoring the decisive goal that gave Yanga a positive start to the group stage.
Without a doubt, Dube has another opportunity tonight to build on his performance from the last match.
It is often said that when a striker goes through a difficult period, all he needs is one goal to regain his sharpness.
Even last season, Dube had a shaky start, but after scoring against TP Mazembe, it became the beginning of a scoring streak across consecutive matches.
