On Friday, November 28, 2025, Yanga will take to the pitch in Algeria to face JS Kabylie in their second CAF Champions League group-stage match.
This is another Group B encounter following the completion of the first-round matches, where Yanga claimed a 1–0 victory over AS FAR while Kabylie suffered a 4–1 defeat to Al Ahly.
The hosts, JS Kabylie, have announced that all tickets have been sold out two days before the match, which will be played in a stadium with a capacity of approximately 50,766 spectators.
This reflects the strong eagerness of the home fans, who are desperate to support their team after their heavy loss in the previous match.
Although the match is expected to be challenging, Yanga will not be intimidated by the atmosphere, having already gained experience playing in high-pressure environments.
Two seasons ago in Algeria, Yanga played the CAF Confederation Cup final against USM Alger and secured a 1–0 victory under difficult conditions.
Yanga’s squad arrived in Algeria yesterday and continues with training sessions in preparation for the clash.
The team arrived early to acclimatize to the weather, as temperatures currently drop to around 10°C.
Coach Pedro Goncalves’ squad will train today at the grounds of Le Relais Vert Hotel and will finalize their preparations tomorrow at the Hocine Aït Ahmed Stadium, where Friday’s match will take place.
