There is good news for Yanga fans regarding their striker Clement Mzize, who recently underwent knee surgery.
There are encouraging signs that Mzize may return to the pitch earlier than expected after beginning light training just two weeks after his knee operation.
The star forward was initially expected to be sidelined for 8 to 10 weeks, but he may now return sooner. The day before yesterday, he started a special training program as part of his recovery.
Mzize has been troubled by injuries since the start of this season, first getting hurt while on national duty during the CHAN 2024 tournament held in August this year.
For now, Yanga continue to rely on strikers Prince Dube and Andy Boyeli, amid rumours that the club may return to the transfer market during the mini-window to add another forward.
