The Yanga management is reportedly considering bringing back former fitness coach Adnan Behlulovic, who served in the same role during Sead Ramović’s tenure at the club.
Following concerns and suggestions from many Yanga supporters regarding the team’s overall fitness levels, the leadership appears to have taken note and is now working on reinstating Behlulovic to replace Mokaila Tsephang, who returned to Botswana after the passing of his mother.
After Yanga terminated the contracts of head coach Romain Folz and his assistants, Mokaila was the only technical staff member retained—based on the recommendation of new head coach Pedro Gonçalves, who wanted to assess him further before making a decision.
During Ramović’s era, Yanga’s famous “Gusa Achia Twende Kwao” high-tempo style was born, with relentless pressing and unmatched physical intensity.
Behlulovic was the architect behind the players’ superior fitness levels, ensuring they remained energetic and competitive throughout matches.
Fans still remember that version of Yanga, and despite the team performing well in the league, many feel that something is missing—perhaps the physical sharpness that previously defined their play.
