On Saturday, November 22, Tanzania Mainland champions Yanga will kick off their quest for a CAF Champions League quarter-final spot with a home match against Morocco’s AS FAR.
The fixture has been confirmed and will take place on Saturday, November 22, at the New Amaan Complex, starting at 5:00 p.m. local time.
This will mark the first time Yanga plays a group-stage match of the CAF Champions League at the Amaan Stadium.
Last season, Yanga played the second-leg preliminary round match at the same venue against Ethiopia’s CBA, winning emphatically 6–0.
Yanga boasts an impressive record at the Amaan Complex — since its renovation, the team has never lost a match there.
It’s a new era for Yanga as they begin hosting their international fixtures at the Amaan Stadium.
