Yanga Assistant Coach Patrick Mabedi has confirmed that the team is ready for their NBC Premier League match against KMC, scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, November 9, at the KMC Complex Stadium.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference earlier today, Mabedi said the team understands the importance of the fixture as they seek all three points to strengthen their position in the league standings.
βWe are grateful that our preparations have gone well. We returned to training on Wednesday, and I can confidently say we are well-prepared to face KMC, a team coached by a very capable coach,β he said.
βThis is a very important match for us to collect all three points and maintain our position in the standings. We know it will not be an easy game because there are no weak teams in this league,β he added.
βWe will not underestimate our opponents by looking at their position in the table. We are approaching this game with the seriousness it deserves,β said Mabedi.
The assistant coach further stated that they have worked to improve the teamβs attacking efficiency, ensuring they capitalize on the chances they create.
βIn our previous matches, we struggled to convert our chances, but the positive thing is that we create many opportunities,β Mabedi noted.
βWe have worked on this area in training to ensure we improve our attacking effectiveness and make the most of our scoring opportunities.β
