The day has finally arrived! This Saturday evening at exactly 5:00 PM, the “Wananchi” have their business to settle at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium when they face Silver Strikers in the CAF Champions League playoff for a place in the group stage.
Yanga need only one outcome today — a win by at least a two-goal margin will send the Tanzanian champions straight into the group phase.
The club’s number one weapon today is its supporters. The Benjamin Mkapa Stadium must be packed to capacity, with fans cheering nonstop to pile maximum pressure on the visitors.
Yanga have already announced access procedures for the stadium: gates will open at 10:00 AM and close at 2:00 PM.
