If there is one player Yanga fans are eager to see on the pitch on Saturday in the match against Silver Strikers, it is Clement Mzize.
Mzize is viewed as Yanga’s main hope in the attacking line, especially after key strikers Prince Dube and Andy Boyeli struggled in the previous match.
Mzize did not feature in Malawi despite having already recovered from an injury that had sidelined him for nearly three weeks.
The technical bench decided to rest him to ensure he returns at 100% fitness.
The striker — whom Yanga were forced to “break the bank” to keep in the last transfer window — now carries the hopes of the Wananchi ahead of Saturday’s match, where Yanga needs a win of at least two goals to reach the group stage.
The good news for Yanga fans is that all players are currently fit and available for the game — no injuries reported.
