The first 90 minutes of the CAF Champions League group stage qualification tie will be played today in Malawi, where hosts Silver Strikers face the Tanzanian Premier League champions, Yanga.
It is an important match for Yanga, who will look to start well away from home in order to place themselves in a strong position to reach the group stage.
Yanga arrived in Malawi two days ago, and yesterday the squad completed their final training session at Bingu Stadium, where the match will kick off today at 4:00 PM Tanzanian time.
Yanga have enjoyed their time in Malawi, and last night the squad had the opportunity to meet the family of their former head coach Jack Chamangwana, who passed away in 2018.
Despite playing away, Yanga are expected to receive massive support today, as approximately 50 buses carrying fans travelled from Tanzania, where they will join Tanzanians living in Malawi to support Yanga in the match.
