On October 18, Yanga will be in Malawi for the first-leg match of the CAF Champions League qualifiers against Silver Strikers, as they seek a place in the group stage.
Recently, Yanga launched the “Malawi Kunaendeka” campaign, encouraging fans to travel with the team to Malawi and support the Wananchi during the crucial encounter.
Supporters from Mbeya Region and nearby areas are actively registering through their respective branches to be part of the traveling group.
Yanga’s Media and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, has declared that the club intends to “shake” the city of Lilongwe just as they did two years ago when they played Al Merrikh in Rwanda.
Two years ago, Yanga fans filled the Pele Stadium, setting a unique record for an away team drawing such massive support in a foreign country.
Kamwe has continued to urge fans to keep registering and be part of yet another historic moment as Yanga heads to Malawi.
