Yanga SC head coach Romain Folz will be without 12 players as his team prepares for the first-leg CAF Champions League playoff against Silver Strikers.
The Tanzanian champions will travel to Malawi between October 16โ18 for the opening leg, before hosting the return fixture a week later in Dar es Salaam.
Preparations have been disrupted as nearly half of the squad is away on international duty during the FIFA break.
Those missing include Djigui Diara (Mali), Israel Mwenda, Bakari Nondo Mwamnyeto, Ibrahim Bacca, Dickson Job, Aziz Andabwile, and Offen Chikola (all called up to Tanzaniaโs Taifa Stars).
Other internationals are Duke Abuya (Kenya), Lassine Kouma and Celestin Ecua (Chad), Prince Dube (Zimbabwe), and Pacome Zouzoua (Ivory Coast).
All 12 players are expected to return to the squad after completing international duty, with the final FIFA calendar matches scheduled for October 14.
