After yesterday’s 2-0 victory over Wiliete SC in the CAF Champions League, Yanga SC have little time to rest as they now turn their focus to the Premier League.
The team is expected to depart Dar es Salaam for Mbeya, where they will face Mbeya City on Tuesday, September 30.
Yanga’s Media and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, confirmed that the squad will leave at 4:00 PM heading to Mbeya with the determination to maintain their dominance in the league, following their 3-0 win over Pamba Jiji in the opening fixture.
After the FIFA international break, Yanga will resume their CAF Champions League campaign against Malawi’s Silver Strikers as they seek qualification for the group stage.
The first leg will be played in Malawi on October 18, with the return leg scheduled for October 25 at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
