The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Gerson Msigwa, has handed Young Africans SC (Yanga) a sum of TSh 10 million following their 2-0 victory over Wiliete SC in the second leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round.
This is part of the bonus initiative by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, where each goal scored in international competitions is valued at TSh 5 million.
With a total 5-0 aggregate win over Wiliete SC (3-0 away and 2-0 at home), Yanga have earned a combined bonus of TSh 25 million in the preliminary stage alone.
