Yanga have started their CAF Champions League campaign in style after defeating Wiliete SC 3-0 in a match played at the November 11 Stadium in Angola.
The Citizens dominated the game, and it could have been an even heavier defeat for Wiliete had Prince Dube capitalized on all the chances he created.
Aziz Andabwile opened the scoring for Yanga in the first half with a brilliant strike from outside the penalty box.
The other two goals came in the second half, scored by Edmund John and Dube, who finally found the net after several missed opportunities.
This victory not only secures Yanga the 15 million shillings “Mama’s Goal” bonus but also puts them in a strong position to advance to the next round.
