Yanga’s Media and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, has called on the club’s fans to be fully prepared for the grand entertainment festival, the climax of *Wiki ya Mwananchi*, set to take place tomorrow, Friday, at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
Kamwe said the first responsibility of fans is to buy tickets in large numbers to fill the stadium. Beyond that, they should also raise the quality of the festival by ensuring lively support from the stands.
He explained that preparations at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium began yesterday, shortly after Simba’s festival concluded.
“Our preparations began immediately after our rivals’ event ended. I believe by this evening, when Bandari FC arrive for their final training session, everything will be in place,” said Kamwe.
“We have divided this festival into four areas. The first belongs to Yanga fans — to fill the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium and create unmatched excitement.”
“We cannot go into the climax of *Wiki ya Mwananchi* with a dull atmosphere. I urge our fans and members to generate enough energy for tomorrow,” he stressed.
“The second area is entertainment. We have already met with all the artists who will perform tomorrow. Among them are Meja Kunta, Dula Makabila, Mzee wa Bwax, D-Voice, and Dogo Pateni — all singeli stars. The headline act will be Zuchu, who has prepared a unique performance for us.”
“The third area is football. We will have three matches: Yanga Princess versus Mashujaa Queens, Yanga Staff against Yanga-supporting artists, and finally, Yanga against Bandari FC. We recognize the value of our fans who have traveled from across the country and abroad, so expect to see all our players on the pitch, including Celestin Ecua, Mussa Balla Conte, and others.”
“I assure you, you will see the real Yanga. We fear no one, we will field our full squad and play at our level with full hunger to satisfy our fans,” Kamwe declared.
He further revealed that the fourth area involves Yanga leaders, who have prepared special gifts for fans and members.
“I’ve been told that, according to the program, Yanga leaders have a big surprise gift for our fans and members at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium. I don’t know exactly what it is, but judging from the preparations, it’s certainly something special. I urge Yanga fans to come out in large numbers to receive it,” Kamwe added.
